The leaders of two countries discussed the settlement of Israeli-Palestinian conflict as well as other issues, which cause mutual concern.
U.S. and Russia’s Presidents had telephone conversation on Monday, February 12, according to the press office of the While House, Correspondent.net reports.
It is noted the leaders of two countries discussed the questions, causing mutual concern, including DPRK’s nuclear problem.
Trump also stated the need to achieve the “permanent peace agreement between Israel and Palestine”.
“President Putin noted that he will have meeting with President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas later, and President Trump said that now, it is time to work towards the permanent peace agreement (between Israel and Palestine)”, U.S. President administration informed.
In addition, U.S. President expressed condolences in regard to AN-148 Russian plane crash, which took lives of 71 people, and stated readiness to help in investigating the tragedy.
Previously, at the meeting with President of Palestine, Putin himself told about the conversation with Trump and specified that they discussed the settlement of Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
