Stock indexes rose
European stocks remained higher on Friday, December 19. It is reported by Bloomberg.
On Friday the British stock market index (FTSE 100) rose by 0.33%;
French Stock Index (CAC 40) up 0.40%;
The German stock index (DAX) rose by 0.69%;
Spain's key stock index (IBEX) up 0.26%;
Italy's stock index (FTSE MIB) rose by 0.60%
Last week became the most successful in the past eight months. Firstly, the U.S. Federal Reserve decided to taper its stimulus program. Secondly, shares of major European companies, such as cruise ship operator Carnival, British mining organization Vedanta, as well as Italian manufacturer of electronics, ST Microelectronics, increased significantly in price.
