Meeting of the Central Experts Qualification Committee
The meeting of the Central Experts Qualification Committee at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held with the view to attest (confirm) the candidates’ qualification for carrying out forensic investigation, what was done by experts from a few governmental bodies who attended the meeting, the press-service of the Ministry of Justice reports.
According to the Experts Justice Department, 24 specialists were admitted to the exam, and 22 out of them confirmed their forensic expert qualification in the following classes:
engineering and technical expertise - 6 specialists;
economical expertise - 8 specialists;
merchandising expertise (including auto-merchandising) - 8 specialists.
Two candidates were rejected as far as their responses were regarded to be not sufficient and full enough to reveal some procedural- and special knowledge topics.
Additionally, the CEQC’s meeting resolved to grant permits to two specialists for learning (internship) at the forensic research & science institutions at the Ministry of Justice.
After considering a disciplinary issue, it was decided to impose disciplinary penalties on two forensic experts.
