Electronic document management will make life easier for notaries and their clients alike
During the Colloquium for notaries in Kyiv was discussed the concept of e-notarial services, as reported by the Ministry of Justice's press office.
The colloquium was organized by the Department of Notaries, bankruptcy and functioning of central certification authority of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine jointly with the Chamber of Notaries Ukraine for Kyiv notaries.
In future the switch from paper-based to electronic document flow will simplify access to notaries for the public – service users who, without leaving their homes or offices, safely and surely will be able to make any transactions, receive administrative services in public bodies, experts stated during the colloquium. At least judging from best practices used in the countries with legally enforced possibility to use electronic digital signature as an equivalent to the handwritten.
The colloquium also positively estimated social focus of the Ministry of Justice’s draft law "On Amending the Law of Ukraine «On Notary» to regulate the payment for notarial acts", approved 17 July 2013 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
