Chaus refused to give testimony to Moldovan law enforcement officers.
Former Judge of Kyiv’s Dniprovsky District Court Nikolai Chaus refused to give testimony to Moldovan law enforcement officers, Head of Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Moldova Viorel Morari said, Corresposdent.net reports.
“Yesterday, our law enforcement officers attempted to interrogate him about the illegal border crossing, but he refused to give any testimony”, he said.
He noted that Moldovan law enforcement officers did not try to interrogate him about the bribery case in Ukraine, not having authorities for it.
Also, according to him, on March 1, Moldova officially informed Ukrainian colleagues about the apprehension of Judge Chaus.
It should be reminded that Press Secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office Larisa Sargan reported about the apprehension of Judge Chaus on March 1.
