Ukraine was debarred from participating in the Three Seas Summit.
This year, Ukraine was not invited for the Three Seas Summit in Warsaw, which US President Donald Trump visited, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine Yurii Shcherbak told, Correspondent.net reports.
Ukraine was invited for the first meeting, which was held in Croatia; however, it did not go there. Last year, the summit was also held, but the country ignored it.
“This year, already understanding that Ukraine may have some claims or willingness to participate, they announced that it is only for EU members”, Shcherbak emphasized.
According to him, thus the organizers raised this organization not to the geopolitical, large platform of countries, which can confront Russia, but to the level of infrastructure projects inside the European Union.
«Of course, I think that it is Poland’s fault. They could have invited our president as a guest», Shcherbak summarized.
