Ukraine slightly worse from last year
Freedom House has published the rating «Freedom on the Net 2013».
According to the rules of the rating, based on the research the countries are awarded points that define freedom on the web - the lower the score the better the situation with online freedom. According to the research Ukraine scored 28 of possible 100 points.
According to Freedom House, difficulties in access to the Internet brought Ukraine 7 points out of 25 possible, violation of user rights - 14 of 40, restricted access to the content - 7 out of 35.
The best situation of online freedom was noted in Iceland (6 points), Estonia (9 points), Germany (17 points) and the USA (17 points).
The study included 60 countries.
