Vorona holds press conference
23 Oct. 2013 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine hosted a press conference by the Head of State Registration Service of Ukraine Dmytro Vorona, dedicated to «Developments in state registration of rights to real property».
Head of State Registration Service briefed the participants on the Service's legislative initiatives aimed at simplifying and improving the process of state registration of rights to immovable property. This concerned, in particular, the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (regarding improvement of normalization of relations to real property)" № 2049 (adopted by the Parliament in first reading) and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Approval of the Procedure of state registration of rights to immovable property and encumbrances and procedures for providing information from the State Register of Rights to Immovable Property".
These legal acts regulate peculiarities of transferring archives from BTI to State Registration Service, questions of termination of mortgage and repayment to the citizens of the state fee, filing registration documents through the «Ukrposhta», exemption of state agencies and local governments from paying the registration fee, as well as simplifying the system of state registration of rights derived from ownership - rent or mortgage.
"We are committed to providing friendly and transparent services to the public", Dmytro Vorona stressed in his speech. He also expressed hope that the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (regarding improvement of normalization of relations of immovable property)" will soon be adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as the basis.
