This year, the Ministry of Finance plans to complete creation of the Financial Investigations Service, Minister of Finance Alexander Danyliuk said during 14th Annual Investment Conference, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“As for the Financial Investigations Service, now, there is a struggle in the country. We are ready to create this institution, not only because it improves the business climate, but it also solves other questions. For now, there is not any common institution, which would be entrusted with investigating financial crimes. And the creation of the Financial Investigations Service is our plan for this year”, Danyliuk said.
He noted that the transparent VAT refund is already launched, the Single Window at the customs.
“It allows us to liquidate corruption in some spheres, but the real impact will be seen only when we come to the institutional reform – replacement of people; that is why we need to replace people in the State Fiscal Service, and it is our plan for this year”, Danyliuk said.
