The index fell to a three-year minimum
In December 2013 only 74 thousand jobs were created in the United States, instead of the planned 197 thousand compared with the value in November 2013 when more than 200 thousand jobs were created. This indicates the instability of the U.S. labor market, according to BBC News.
The report states that the number of jobs in tourism, industry and services increased. However, construction companies fired about 16 thousand employees. This is the largest decline in 20 months.
