US Government decreased estimates for GDP growth for 2014 FY
In 2014 US GDP will grow by 2.4%, while the previous forecast published in 2012 suggested 2.5%. Revised figures are given in the US draft budget for 2014 FY presented by President Barack Obama.
At the same time, estimates back in 2010 predicted GDP growth rate in 2014 at 2.6%.
The White House analysts predict annual growth of 2.6% after 2020.
The document unveiled by the President gives the $3.8 trillion budget plan for 2014 FY with proposed budget deficit of $744 billion.
