WTO cuts trade growth forecast
In 2013 global trade will grow by 3.3%, as predicted by the World Trade Organization.
Prior WTO’s forecast suggested growth rate of global trade at 4.5%.
The organization’s experts believe the cut in indicators is linked to the debt crisis in European countries. Another adverse factor affecting the forecast is accelerated fiscal consolidation in the US, as well as worsening trade relations between China and Japan.
