Saudi Arabia increased oil production to 10.72 million barrels per 24 hours, in spite of recent agreement with OPEC, Reuters reports quoting the sources.
On November 30, OPEC agreed to reduce oil production. In the meantime, Saudi Arabia agreed to limit production until 10.06 mln barrels per 24 hours (from 10.54 mln in October).
The other source in OPEC reported to the edition that Iraq also increased production to 4.8 million barrels per 24 hours, though in October Baghdad produced by 100 ths barrels less.
It is notable that previously Saudi Arabia claimed that non-OPEC countries should reduce oil production.
