The White House stated that Trump has neither business nor ties with Russia.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer stated that US President Donald Trump is open to the investigation of his business ties with Russia, as they do not exist, Correspondent.net reports quoting RIA News.
At the briefing, the journalists inquired about the readiness of the White House to cooperate with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who stated his readiness to conduct investigation of business ties of Trump with Russia.
“Certainly, the president knows about the suggestion of Senator Graham, made today. He is fine with it. He has neither business in Russia, not ties with Russia, so he does not mind this investigation”, Spicer said.
The White House Press Secretary noted that Trump already asked the large “law firm in Washington to send a registered letter to Senator Graham regarding that he has no ties with Russia”.
It should be reminded that previously Trump said that the messages about his ties with Russia is a “total lie”. According to US President, “the Democrats used the false story about his ties with Russia in order to find the excuse for the defeat at the elections”.
