Apple will launch a low-budget version of iPhone X for Chinese market in 2018, Akket.com reports quoting the Japanese Mac Otakara, ET reports.
It is noted that this mobile device will be fitted with a special OLED screen as well as front camera TrueDepth, supporting Face ID technology. The source does not indicate how the novelty will be distinguished from the classical model.
According to the resource, the launch of a low-cost iPhone X will allow Apple to better compete with many frameless Android smartphones from China, which are sold virtually at their prime cost. The more affordable flagman from Apple corporation will be able to compete with them, thus expanding the Apple user base, which the company uses for promoting its ecosystem.
It is reported that the launch of low-cost iPhone X will be announced in early 2018.
The mobile device, described by the Japanese resource, is iPhone SE of a new generation, which will inherit the novelty’s major peculiarities, but will obtain a less advanced main camera and will have no different useful “tricks”, like the wireless and quick charging.
