The special interactive map was drawn up for U.S. tourists.
U.S. Department of State drew up the interactive map, which will help tourists to assess the risk when visiting different countries. As per the new gradation, the states are divided into four groups, kapital.kz reports.
The first group includes the relatively reliable countries, for visiting of which you may observe regular precaution measures. This category includes most countries of the Eastern Europe, Scandinavian countries, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
The second group includes the countries, in which you need to observe the increased precaution measures – Western European countries due to the high risk of terrorist attacks, Ukraine.
The third category includes the countries, the trips to which should be reconsidered. It includes Russia, Turkey, Pakistan, Niger, Chad, Nigeria.
The fourth group of countries, to which it is better not to go – Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen and DPRK.
Spokesperson of U.S. Department of State Michelle Bernier-Toth explained that a new system of gradation of countries replaced the old recommendations and warnings, which were very confusing. “Even I got tired to e[plain the difference between these recommendations and warnings to my colleagues”, The Washington Post quotes her words. “We had to make information more available for people, in order it becomes more understandable”, she explained.
