A financial audit of PJSC Agrarian Fund initiated by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food will begin in two weeks, said AF Chair Andry Radchenko, according to the ministerial press-office.
He said that talks about performing the audit by one of the top auditing companies, the so called “Big Four”, are being carried out now. The companies meant are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG. ‘The talks are now underway, and I hope that the audit will begin just in two weeks, and the first inspection findings will be disclosed in two months. Today is the most suitable time for carrying out the audit: available are the financial statements of the fund, its senior management has been replaced”, - Andrey Radchenko added.
The Head of PJSC Agrarian Fund added that his next task is to reform internal business processes and make the company public and transparent for all market players.
“Not coincidentally, the company was described as a “black box”, because it hasn’t maintained any liaison with market participants or given feedback. Moreover, no information about strategic goals or plans of the fund has been imparted. It is urgent to streamline the internal business processes. We are planning to make the company accessible, public and conceivable”, - Andry Radchenko accentuated. He promised that the long-term strategy of the Fund will be soon devised, what will allow working more efficient.
