Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Ratification of the Statute of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, Today.kz reported.
It should be reminded that on April 27, the deputies of the Senate of RK Parliament approved the law on the ratification of the statute.
“The main purpose of the organization is the striving for the progressive unification of the regulations of international private law and promotion of cooperation of the countries. The membership of Kazakhstan in the conference will allow, firstly, directly participating in the process of international policy-making, secondly, involving international experts in the improvement of Kazakhstan civil legislation and raising the proficiency of the representatives of our legal community”, Minister of Justice Marat Beketaev said while delivering speech to the deputies.
Currently, the organization includes 81 states and the European Union.
The entrance to the Hague Conference requires the payment of annual membership fee, amounting to 6,850 euros. These expenses are already provided in the republican budget for the current year.
